six ways essential oils help us

1. As fighters against unfriendly microbes
2. As balancers of bodily functions
3. As raisers of our bodily frequencies
4. As antioxidants that purify our systems
5. As clearers of negative emotions
6. As uplifters of our spiritual awareness

Here is something from “Healing Oils of the Bible” by David Stewart that I think is pretty interesting:

The July, 2000, issue of the “Journal of the American Medical Association”, attributes 250,000 deaths a year to doctors and pharmaceuticals with prescription drugs as the third leading cause of death in the United States and iatrogenic (doctor mistakes) as the eighth. (see www.mercola.com).

There has never been a case recorded anywhere of anyone dying from an essential oil administered by a qualified aromatherapist or taken according to common sense precautions.

What oils do is to stimulate the body to return to normality. They do this by telling truths to your cells, unlike drugs that lie and contradict one another eventually creating confusion, chaos and disease in the body. Oils agree with each other in their overall objectives, work in harmony, and move the body toward a state of health. This is why you can apply many oils on your body at once and not have an adverse inter-reaction.

The major responsibilities for the diagnosing and prescribing therapeutic regimens among the Jews were delegated to the priesthood, while childbirth and the care of women were mostly in the hands of midwives. (Ex 1:15-21) The word “doctor,” (found 3 times) in the Bible, is never used to indicate a healer or a practitioner of the medical arts. It means “teacher”. The word “physician” (found 11 times) is used in the sense of a healer or administrator of oils and medicines, but not always in a sense that is very flattering or commendable. It is physicians like Luke that Christians should seek out today—healers who pray and acknowledge God as the source of all healing, physicians who are not atheistic in their practice.
