lesson on mixing essential oils

The very first recipe I mixed I tainted the smell of a couple of my oils with another oil by not cleaning the dropper properly. The oils I purchased don’t have dropper caps, so I used a glass dropper I had. I’d read you can clean the oils off with rubbing alcohol, so I was cleaning out the dropper after using each oil with alcohol, but I was cleaning it in same bottle of alcohol each time. (The alcohol sure smells nice now!)
So what I did was I went to Walmart and bought enough glass droppers so I have one for each of my essential oils. Then I got a strip of leather and sewed another strip of leather on top of it with little pouches for each dropper. I have each dropper labeled and each pouch labeled so I make sure I get them in the right slot. It rolls up real handy...
Recently I found some little glasses at the local flea market and I have been using them to keep the droppers separate from each other, for the oils I use the most, so they’re more readily available.
I later read that to clean the oils off of bottles or droppers you should use the extra strength, 91% alcohol, rather than the 70% alcohol.
